Insurance & Payment Information
I accept TriWest and the VA Community Care Network. For all other insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly.
I am happy to provide monthly superbills if you plan to seek reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Because coverage varies by plan, I recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to understand your benefits, as reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.
If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, please let me know before or during your first session so we can review the process and make sure you have everything needed to submit your claim.
What is a Superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt for services rendered, which includes the clinical and billing information required by insurance companies. Clients may submit this document directly to their insurer to request reimbursement for eligible services.
How to Check Out of Network (OON) Benefits
Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card.
Ask if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits.
If it does, ask what percentage of the cost is reimbursed.
Ask whether you need to meet your deductible first and, if so, how much it is.
Ask how they prefer you submit your superbill for reimbursement.
